Perro y Arena Censer Coyote
Tijuana, 2024
Censer with plate.
"Entre Cenizas" Collection is inspired by the traditions of the Day of the Dead
and the celebration of life and death. Made with black and white acrylic
These works feature minimal details, with carved eyes that capture
the essence of the coyote in a simplified form.
It is like a reflection of the remains left after a fire,
very similar to a tree that loses its foliage leaving only its black trunk.
