From the "Incrustations" series made up of pieces made from materials extracted from nature and inspired by phenomena that occur in the natural environment.
Incrustations are formed by chemical precipitation, a similar phenomenon that occurs when adding water to the pieces, which causes white spots to form on them.
TECHNIQUE
Red clay vessel extracted from Tecate with fragments of milky pink quartz from Santa Catarina, Baja California. Modeled by hand with traditional firing in a brick oven.

Clay is a very fragile material, do not hit or drop. It scratches easily, it can contain water but it changes the color of the piece (white spots).
